GOSI contributions, in short

Saudis: 9.75% employee, 11.75% employer

Pension (9% + 9%), SANED unemployment insurance (0.75% + 0.75%), and occupational hazards (2%, employer only).

🌍

Expats: nothing deducted

Expatriate employees pay no GOSI. The employer pays 2% occupational hazards insurance on the contributory wage.

🧮

Based on basic + housing

The contributory wage is basic salary plus housing allowance, capped at SAR 45,000 per month. Other allowances aren't counted.
